Designing spaces with identity

Maria Tzerbinou has been working in the field of Interior Architecture for over 23 years, with extensive experience in the design and realization of residential and commercial spaces.

She holds a BA in Interior Design from Middlesex University (2002) and a BTEC in Fine Art from the London Institute (1998). In 2025, she completed an MSc in Sustainable Architecture at the University of West Attica, further integrating the principles of sustainability into her design approach.

For Maria, every project tells a different story. Its location, surroundings, architectural context and, above all, the people who will live or work within it form the starting point of the design process.

Her approach is based on achieving a balance between aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability. By listening carefully to each client’s needs and understanding their personality, she aims to create spaces with a distinct identity — spaces that are not only visually engaging, but also feel natural in everyday life and genuinely reflect the people who inhabit them.

The unique requirements and challenges of each project are an essential part of the creative process. Rather than applying a signature aesthetic to every space, her aim is to create a result that emerges from the dialogue between architectural vision and the client’s personality and way of life.

Because what makes a space truly unique is the story it tells and the people who experience it.
